Fast delivery with great tracking. Tomcat MK2 has very impressive range and power for its size. As others have said, its no toy and could do significant damage if mishandled, so as always, with any weapon, safety first.

I've probably fired 200-300 shots already, I've kept the string well waxed all the way along, not just at the center and ends where it contacts the limb, although more has been applied at these critical points. I also stuck shrink tube on the uprights of the cocking mechanism, where it contacts the string (didn't have any large enough to go onto the string itself) - so far the string is showing little sign of wear, unlike some who moan they wear quickly, it just shows taking care of your string and regular waxing is important.

The Tomcat itself has very good build quality, especially considering its price and you can quickly and easily become quite accurate, although I am using a sight. Which brings me on to the downside - the supplied 'iron'sights are steel at the barrel end, but plastic at the trigger end, and whilst im 100% sure that once setup they would be accurate and perfectly functional, I didn't get a chance to try them as they have a very thin weak point and whilst stringing I caught them and snapped them off.... fortunately I already had a sight that I was going to put on, but if I hadn't I would have been very peeved. That weak point really is the Tomcat's only detriment.

Two other things to bear in mind are, one, keep a Phillips screwdriver handy and give the screw's on the body/trigger a tighten periodically, after 150 or so shots I was able to give them a gentle tighten, its not falling apart, but remember its brand new and has a significant amount of strain applied every time its cocked/fired, so it will bed and tightening just ensures everything stays as it should, but don't go nuts and over tighten.

It's worth keeping an eye on the brass safety too, as I've found its a two part threaded 'bolt' and I've managed to unscrew it a couple of times during use. The first time it caught me off guard and one side fell out, if I'd been in long grass it could have been a pain to find - I'm going to stick some thread lock on it to ensure that doesn't happen again.

All in all I am very happy with the power and value of my purchase and would highly recommend both the Tomcat MK2 and UK Crossbows to both beginners and those more experienced, who might never have considered having a pistol, for the money I assure you, you will not be disappointed - buy one !

Great service and quick delivery.

This is an Awesome product, robust design and easy to use.

In the event of a zombie apocalypse it will definitely be my weapon of choice.
It can go through an interior door at 30 paces so they will have nowhere to hide.

The sights are ok but not brilliant but they are mounted on a standard rail so a red dot sight can be added with no modification.

I'd give this 9/10

For the price, this is great value. It's really fun and very easy to cock. It's is pretty well made too, solid enough to feel quite nice in the hand... Don't get your expectations too high though, you get what you pay for... It's not particularly powerful (you get a tinny 'twang' from the string rather than nice 'thunk') and is only really accurate to about 10m (the sights aren't great either)... Overall, it's very well worth £30, it's not worth much more than that!

Very good value. Good quality. Decent bowstring. You might want to put heat-shrink tubing over the middle section of the string to decrease friction.

The Armex Tomcat Mk2 is well made, feels sturdy, and well worth the price. As for UK Crossbows, their service is excellent - the crossbow arrived in the time expected.
